Estee Lauder Make Up Brushes

Posted on January 2nd, 2010 in Brushes by admin

Finding a good brush is never easy, so i think it always pays to go with a good name like Estee Lauder. However its not cheap at the same time coming in at around £30 which is alot for just one brush and not a set. Also when you compare it to Laura Mercier brushes which are in the same range but half the price it doesn’t seem like the same bargin.

Still if you are a brush girl them im sure you are going to like this as the feel is second to none and Estee Lauder have a really good rep for being durable.

Max Factor Second Skin Foundation

So i was in boots again (are you noticing a theme here?) and i spotted this Max Factor Second skin foundation at the ridiculous price of £14! I remember a year ago it was over £30 so this is really a great discount, as this is a great product!

Ive had alot of recommendations about this Max factor product before as it doesn’t collect around the eyes and eyebrows like some other foundations. Check it out at www.boots.com

For a long time acne has been see to be the preserve of teenage boys but its a little known fact that many women of all ages also suffer from it. There have been many products on the market for acne over the years to help with treatment but none specifically aimed at the beauty market.

Clear cell have an extensive range from masks to scrubs and gels. They can help with a wide range of conditions including skin inflammation and sores too.

Face Atelier Foundations that dont budge

Posted on January 2nd, 2010 in Foundation by admin

This is a new foundation coming from Canada is supposed to be one of the most reliable on the market as its makers say it literally wont budge. They are even claiming its a second skin!

High pigmentation and a water resistant formula, as well as a soft-focus finish are what made it the choice of Madonna’s make up artists for the Confessions. So what do you guys think? Has anyone used this yet?

Melvita Hydrastim Moisturiser

So i was checking out this new Melivta Hydrastim moisturiser in boots the other day and it looks really good. The main point for this new product is that it doesn’t interfere with your foundation and i think that this is really important when dealing with many of todays acrylic foundations.

Its not cheap at £20 for a moisturiser but i suppose you do get what you pay for. At the same time i have a friend who swears by E45 which is around £3 for a big tub!

Neals makes a difference to your skin

I was out shopping the other day and i saw this great new orange flower moisturiser from Neals. Makes a difference from all the dull and boring E45 ranges i see all the time. I also know thats its a time of year when we all make promises to ourselves for better skin so there’s really no reason not to start off with sometime “extra special” for your skin.
